July 2010

Dear

When will it rain? Driving through the countryside looking at the brown grasses in the borders and my parched garden lawn each morning reminds me of the feast and famine aspect of business.

And that is where Tuesday Business Club comes in. Networking is an excellent way to beat feast and famine, as it should be part of your marketing strategy to drip-feed your message and maintain your presence, both on and offline, to your customer base and potential clients.

Don't overlook the chance to meet up with like-minded businesses to discuss various ideas and concepts, like how to overcome feast and famine, in a convivial atmosphere of the George Inn in Wallingford. The second Tuesday of the month comes round next week, so book in your diaries Tuesday 12 July at 6.30pm for our next meeting!

Our speaker this month will be Claire Snowdon who will be talking on 'Are you ‘ready' for your trip abroad?'. She will highlight various tips and tricks towards making a sejourn abroad a successful and profitable occasion, whether for business or pleasure. Don't miss it! (Details are below...)

We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday, don't forget to book your place through our website.

Best wishes

The Tuesday Business Club

Are you ‘ready' for your trip abroad?

Most of us travel abroad at some time in our lives, whether it is for our annual holiday, business trip or some other occasion.

How much we prepare and plan for our trip can impact on the results and outcome of our time spent overseas.

Knowing how to plan and what to expect can increase the chances of a stress-free, enjoyable and beneficial trip.

  • What do we need to know?
  • What do we need to plan?
  • How can we prepare?
  • How can we close that deal or build that business relationship?

Participants should leave this session with some travel tips, tools and know-how to answer these questions and more.

Happy travels...
