Hi! The March meeting at The George in Wallingford gave us a really interesting insight into CRM - Customer Relationship Management. Jon Williams from Perceptive Online got us all thinking about how we keep in touch with our clients and prospects, and about simpler ways of doing it. We also discussed a number of business issues, including how to recruit great staff and how to use Google Analytics. The general opinion was that TBC meetings are a great place to talk informally about business topics and to get help and advice from the other people there. If you've got a burning business question, why not come along next month and ask it? Speaking of next month, on 13 April 2010 our speaker will be Trese Rowe from Amplia. She gave us a fantastic session last year on how to win more sales. Read on to find out what she's talking about next month. To book your place at the meeting, just click here. Best wishes, The Tuesday Business Club Team What do you do to help your clients buy?
Understanding how prospects/clients buy is a vital to sales success and developing a growing business. During this session you will be introduced to the Buying Ladder. We'll discuss where your prospects/clients are on the Buying Ladder and how you can influence their way up it. This session will be interactive and practical and audience responses will be used to keep the content relevant.
Having started her own business in 1996, Trese Rowe founded Amplia in 2001 and now works with a team of trusted partners and associates to support clients in achieving their goals. Having begun her career in HR in retailing, Trese has over 20 years' sales, management and training experience, gained in leading edge businesses such as Whitbread, Coca Cola and Walkers. Amplia's associates have experience and expertise in customer service, marketing, category management, HR and IT.
Membership Renewal Time!
We're currently looking for more new members and at the last meeting, we asked 'What makes TBC different?' The resounding response was that our meetings are informal enough to allow members (and guests) to discuss current business issues in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Got a problem? Share it at TBC and ask for advice! Thinking about setting up a new business or launching a new product or service? Use TBC members to do some research and find out what they think. It's also a great place to find suppliers and get recommendations for business. So, if you haven't been to a TBC meeting for a while, why not come along in April and let us know how we can help you? If you're not yet a member, join up next month and start reaping the benefits!
