At the end of June we exhibited at The Luxury Travel Fair in Olympia and it was really nice to meet those of you that popped along for a glass of bubbly and a chat. This year we felt the show was much better organised and definitely offered visitors a good choice of Luxury Tour Operators and products. I hope we’ve managed to make contact with all of you who stopped by and we really look forward to working with you on your itineraries as and when you start to plan your journeys.

Leisurely Sojourn by Luxury Train between Victoria Falls and Pretoria - including a special trip to Matetsi Game Reserve!

01 October 2007 - 30 September 2008 - From: £949 pp sharing – excludes flights

This four-night adventure begins as the train departs Rovos Rail’s gracious station at Capital Park in Pretoria. This special journey departs in the morning and slowly meanders north towards Bela Bela, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn just after the station of Soekmekaar. Once over the Soutpansberg mountains, north of Makhado we enter Baobab country.

Few sights are more evocative of primeval Africa than the eerie silhouette of a Baobab tree starkly outlined against a ruddy African sunset. South African border formalities will take place at Musina and then, very slowly over Beit Bridge, the train will ease itself into Zimbabwe. Continue in a north-westerly direction passing through Thompson’s Junction and disembark at Kennedy Siding in Hwange Game Reserve for a morning game drive.  Journeys end is the incomparable Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River from where guests will be transferred to Matetsi Game Reserve . Situated just 40 kilometres upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Matetsi extends over 111 200 acres of pristine African wilderness – the largest private wildlife concession in the country.
